Always my start to Christmas
We only do the little fun run - but great atmosphere and my start to Christmas! Loved the little running shoe prizes. Used to be a bit more made of the village hall bit and after run celebrations with music at the end etc - would love to bring that back but appreciate its a lot to organise - always used to be a locals hamper (& mugs!) too which was lovely - again appreciate lots to organise. Age categories would also be great - so all can compete at their level against similar levels!. All in all loved it - thanks all organisers!!

Friendly 3km race - very muddy!
Fun run but previously there have been more prizes for the juniors eg age ranges, first girl, first boy and also fancy dress prizes, it would make it more fun - hopefully they will bring it back for next year.

Lovely muddy festive run - but a tough 10km off road route, so be aware
I brought a group from my work and they loved it - atmosphere, marshals, route and ending with festivities in village hall.
I've done this run a few times. Over the years we've had mugs, medals etc and after a few years you don't need another mug or a medal - maybe offer a purchase upgrade on booking as I can see a few were hoping for a finishers momento (with a token to pick up at registration so that they can pick up their medal / mug at the end). I think you got a medal with the 3km as lots of kids do that one. I would agree though it is important to recognise the non elite runners with spot prizes or fancy dress prize, makes it more fun.

Get Christmas started here !!
Great atmosphere, well organised and superb marshalling. Incredibly wet, slippery and unforgiving course but mulled wine and mince pies to welcome you home.

Despite the mud and flooded paths I loved it!
Worst puddles ever but still we loved it!
I would not recommend the 10k route to beginners
There are plenty of on road routes which are level . Don't want anyone to hate it !

Festive fun
Lovely fun welcoming atmosphere & manages to cater for all groups from fun runners to fancy dress festive mates to people looking to run a fast time. Marshalling was perfect & stunning views along the coast - than you so much for continuing to put on my favourite race of the year!

Fab marshalling & gorgeous scenery

A great event
Disappointed that results still aren't available 24 hours later.

The start of Christmas
Fantastic event, lots of happy runners and a great turn out this year... marshals were amazing and well organised !!!!!
Personally I'd like to see more age cat prizes, use some sponsorship money for prizes.. you then get folk staying in the hall, hopefully spending a bit more money, improves the atmosphere and gives everyone a chance.
Rather than the professional runners winning it year on year..
Makes the run more equitable, inclusive and fun.. with the Budleigh Blister ( which is serious) this run in my opinion needs to be as much fun and as inclusive as it can be, to contrast with the Blister.
A couple hundred quid off your profits, is a brillant investment in my opinion, to promote a more fun experience for all..

Great local event as always
Done this a few times , sure it's tougher than it used to be , but well organized race , Marshall's were great and cheerful ,
Sure we used to sing a hymn before the started a few years back ,
Be back next year

Muddy, feel-good fun
I’d done it before so knew how wet and muddy I could expect it to be. Maybe make it very clear to first-timers?
